Replacement hex head screw for lawn tractors and riding mowers. Use to replace broken, stripped, or missing screws in various mounting locations.

This is the replacement washer head screw for a lawnmower or lawn tractor. It is black in color and is roughly 1.5 inches in length. With its hexagonal head and washer face, it is usually used as a fastener in outdoor power tools. It is self-tapping, meaning it can tap its own threads when screwed into either plastic, wood, or metal. When used with lawn tractors and lawnmowers, this screw is commonly employed for securing the mandrel housing to the mower deck. Replace the washer head screw if the old screw is damaged or missing. First, a pilot hole should be made that's slightly smaller than the diameter of this screw before driving it with a screwdriver. This is also a thread-forming type of self-tapping screw, and it does not have a pointed tip. It is compatible with specific products from major brands like Ariens, Craftsman, Husqvarna, Murray, Poulan, Ryobi, and Weed Eater. This part is sold individually and is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
