This part is a spindle assembly that is used on lawn tractor mower attachments. It is part of the mandrel assembly. The mandrel assembly is responsible for spinning the blades. A replacement spindle assembly will be needed if it is worn out due to normal wear and tear over a period of time. Signs that this part needs to be replaced are if the grass is being cut unevenly or if there are squealing sounds coming from the lawn tractor. The unit may also vibrate excessively if the spindle assembly needs to be replaced. Use extreme caution when attempting to replace any part that is near the blade of a lawn tractor.
