Description

This is a genuine MTD air cleaner cover that is designed for use with select models of outdoor lawn and garden engines. The air cleaner cover is designed to fit over the air cleaner and keep debris from getting into the filter and the engine. Over time and even with the best care, air filters can become clogged, dirty, and even damaged, and they should be checked during regular routine maintenance. For those who want to replace a damaged cover or housing at the same time as the cleaner filter, this part is going to do the job. A screwdriver will be needed to install the part. Be sure to allow the unit to cool and wear gloves when performing repairs.This is an OEM replacement from MTD that is manufactured to specific standards. It can be used with select trimmers from Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, Yard Machines, and MTD. It includes the filter cover and the two bolts that hold it in place. The air cleaner element is also included in this assembly, which is sold as an individual unit.
