Description

This replacement chute is an authentic OEM part for a lawn mower. The chute attaches to the side of a lawn mower, and as the blade cuts grass, it pushes the clippings towards the chute. The chute then sprays grass towards the back and side of the mower. These clippings can be left as nutrient rich compost for the lawn or the operator can go around and pick up the clippings for a stately, professional look. Chutes are made of a durable reinforced plastic, but because they are attached on the outside of the mower and protrude to the side, they can easily be rammed into trees, walls, and other obstacles. If hit too hard, the chute will tear off and grass will spray unevenly across the lawn. Fortunately, chutes are easy to replace.
