Description

This is a genuine OEM replacement fuel tank that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is used in various trimmer models and holds the fuel for operation. When the machine is not in use for long periods, the fuel that is in the tank causes the tank to become brittle. Exposure to the elements and normal use may also cause damage to the tank. Cracks, pinholes, leaking fuel lines, or bad O-rings in the fuel cap can all lead to fuel loss that not only affects engine performance, but that could also be a safety hazard.Turn the engine off and allow it to cool. Empty the fuel into a clean container to reuse later. Disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel pump. These lines are part of the fuel tank. Remove the fuel tank and lines. Install the new fuel tank with fuel lines. Refill with fuel and apply the fuel cap. Reinstall the spark plug.
