Description

Trimmers have a shield assembly that protects the user from flying debris while the trimmer string is in operation. If this assembly cracks or falls off, the trimmer should not be operated until a new on is installed. Over time, the sun's heat may cause the plastic to crack, ultimately leading to the shield falling off. Safety is an important factor when operating lawn and garden equipment.
