Description

This back plate (sometimes just called a plate) is a genuine MTD part. It is manufactured as a replacement part for log splitters and some models of lawn mowers.On a log splitter, the back plate is a safety feature and also helps deliver pressure. It is not uncommon for the back plate to become damaged or broken through normal use of the log splitter. If this happens, it is important to replace promptly as the machine may no longer function or be safe to use. This back plate is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. A wrench is required to make this repair.
