Description

This is a rim and tire assembly for the rear wheel of a self-propelled lawnmower. The rear wheels stabilize the weight of the lawnmower and do not rotate. They provide traction throughout the mowing process and enable proper movement of the mower. With frequent use, the rubber can become worn out or damaged. When the treads on a wheel become thin, traction suffers. If wheels aren't used or improperly stored, they can also become cracked and damaged. If not replaced, it could affect the mower's alignment.Before replacing the wheel, stabilize the mower on a flat surface, and disconnect the spark plug ignition wire for safety. Adjust the height to the highest level and use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the hubcap. Remove the hardware with a socket wrench and pull the wheel off. Use a dry lubricant on the bushings before installing on the axle. Replace the hardware to secure the wheel.
