Description

This is a genuine OEM throttle cable that is designed for use with select gas string trimmers. The throttle cable connects to the carburetor and is used to stop the engine from running when the lever is shifted from throttle to choke. Over time, this cable is extended and retracted frequently and can become worn with use. It consists of the metal throttle cable and the plastic housing, and those can get broken or damaged as well, which will require the need for a full replacement. Without a functioning throttle cable, the engine may not run correctly, or the speed of the engine will not be able to be controlled. This replacement cable is ideal for compatible devices. This OEM throttle cable is manufactured to exact standards by MTD. It can be used with a variety of models of trimmers from MTD, Troy-Bilt, Yard Man, Cub Cadet, and Yard Machines. It is made of durable metal with a composite plastic housing. The trigger and screws are sold separately and will require an additional purchase if needed.
