When interlock switches are working properly, they will keep the engine from starting if there is no foot is not on the brake or if the parking brake is not set. When the switch breaks, it will not allow current to reach the starter even when the brake is on, which means the engine will not start. If the solenoid is not clicking when the ignition key on the tractor or mower is turned, the interlock switch is likely to blame. This is a genuine OEM replacement interlock switch that can help get a lawn tractor up and running again. Is is compatible with riding tractors and mowers from many different brands, including Craftsman, Bolens, Yard Machines, Yard-Man, MTD, and Troy-Built.

This is a genuine replacement PTO switch designed for lawn tractors. The PTO switch is designed to engage and disengage the mower blades/deck. On some models, a secondary PTO switch may connect the power of the lawn tractor to pull-behind accessories, such as spreaders and snowblowers. Over time, the PTO switch will suffer from wear and tear. Repeated use may wear out the electrical contacts inside the switch, for instance. It is also possible for the switch to be damaged accidentally, or it may suffer from moisture build-up if the mower is left out or used in the rain. Replacing a failed PTO switch is simple, but may require a small, flathead screwdriver. The switch is held in place by two plastic arms. These must be depressed toward the body of the switch, and then the switch must be pulled outward from the control panel. Installing the new switch simply requires inserting it into the mounting location with the pins properly aligned and pressing in until the arms lock in place. This is a genuine OEM replacement part designed for Craftsman zero-turn mowers.
