A mulching blade has a unique curved or angled design that allows discharging, bagging, and mulching. This steering gear is an integral part of the guidance mechanism for riding mowers and lawn tractors. This gear meshes with the turning mechanism of the wheels, connecting the front axle to the steering column. The constant, short diameter turning of riding mowers puts a tremendous amount of pressure on the steering pinion gear as well as the steering plate, causing the teeth of each of these parts to wear out. Over time, the steering will become less responsive until eventually the drive wheels will not respond at all when the steering wheel is turned.
