The Door Spring Link is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool dishwashers. This component connects the door spring to the dishwasher door, helping to balance the door's weight and assist in its smooth opening and closing. The door spring link ensures that the door remains properly tensioned, facilitating ease of use and preventing it from dropping open too quickly.
Causes of a bad door spring link can include normal wear and tear, overstretching or breaking due to repeated use, or damage from improper handling during maintenance.
Symptoms of a bad Door Spring Link include:
- The dishwasher door dropping open too quickly
- Difficulty in opening or closing the door smoothly
- A sagging door that does not stay in place
- Unusual noises when opening or closing the door
This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
