This genuine OEM part is a control board for heat inverter pumps. The control board is the main circuit board that allows the heat inverter pump to perform its essential function of modulating heat output in the inverter pump. If the heater is no longer producing heat at consistent levels, not turning on, or no longer regulating temperature properly, the control board will need to be replaced. Luckily, this is a very simple fix.To replace the control board, start by unplugging the heat inverter pump unit. Once unplugged, remove the front panel of the unit by unthreading the cover screws. Once removed, locate the old control board and remove the wire harness along with any individual wires that might be attached. Take note of the orientation of the wires and pull out the old control board from its mounting brackets. Once removed, replace with the new board and reattach the wire harness and individual wires into their correct terminals. Snap the new board back into place and reinstall the front panel.This authentic replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with LG heater inverter pump units.
