Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. The burner element was bad on the left front Vernon G. • Simsbury , CT • May 07, 2016
I ordered the replacement part and undid two screws on the front of the cooktop then used a nut driver to undo the clamps holding the burner in.I took a picture of the wiring then used needle nose pliers to gently pull the connectors off the terminals. reinstalling you just line up the new burner with the old one and screw the clamps back on. there are no predrilled holes the screws just bite into the insulation.

2 maytag smooth top stove burners were not turning all the way on Pamela R. • Indianapolis , IN • March 25, 2018
Purchased the triple burner and dual burner element. I added my model of stove and I was able to pull up diagrams of the stove parts. The parts were easy to find using the diagrams and the burner elements were marked 17 & 15 so I placed my order. Parts were here in a couple of days. The tricky part was figuring out how to get into the stove top. I was a few youtube videos to see different replacement. My husband and I got the stove top off and flipped it over on the counter. We looked at...

The oven was not staying up to set temperature Pat M. • Kansas City , MO • December 05, 2023
I first tested and replaced the temperature sensor. Since this is a slide-in range, I managed to pull it out just enough to access the back without disconnecting the downdraft and gas line. (For wall models this would not be the case.) Unfortunately, that did not do it. Next I replaced the lower heating element because it was a little below the ohms level it should be at. No go. So far, both of these were pretty easy to do and were relatively inexpensive so I wasn't too frustrated. Then I...
