This mounting cup installs in the freezer liner to create a secure attachment point for the ice maker or its bracket. It helps keep the assembly stable and properly aligned so the ice maker mounts firmly and operates reliably. What it does:
- Provides the receiving anchor for the ice maker/bracket mounting screw
- Helps hold the ice maker level and reduces movement or vibration
- A worn, stripped, or missing cup can prevent the screw from tightening
- Common signs include a loose or sagging ice maker, rattling, or difficulty keeping the ice maker aligned
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing
- Remove the ice maker to access the cup location
- Seat the cup fully into the liner opening, then reinstall the bracket/ice maker and mounting screw
- Do not overtighten; verify the ice maker sits level and clears the fill tube

This is a replacement 1/4-20 threaded screw used to secure appliance components and panels. It restores proper fastening where a matching screw is missing, loose, or stripped and helps stop rattling or misalignment. What it does:
- Secures panels, brackets, and assemblies to maintain proper alignment and reduce vibration
- Replaces missing or damaged fasteners that cause loose or rattling parts
- Works wherever a 1/4-20 threaded screw is specified by the manufacturer
- Simple mechanical fastener—no electrical or calibration changes required
What's included: One 1/4-20 threaded screw. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing to avoid injury
- Use the matching driver and thread engagement; do not overtighten to prevent stripping
- Verify screw length and head type match the original before installing
- If threads are damaged, repair or replace the mating component rather than forcing the screw
