My whirlpool refridgerator stopped cooling / clicking sound heard coming from the compressor Mary G. • Stevensville , MD • November 29, 2014
I unplugged the unit, removed the back cardboard panel and replaced the compressor starting device, and also the capacitor. Plugged the unit back in and the compressor came on and immediately began cooling. I was so happy (proud of myself) for diagnosing the problem and fixing the unit. I can't take all the credit though... Thank You Appliance Parts Pros for your great website with all the helpful tips and suggestions.
