Ordered a new icemaker from Appliance Pros after viewing the video and determining I could accomplish the task.
When the icemaker arrived (promptly) I installed it without difficulty after reviewing the video from Appliance Pros again.
The icemaker is now happily making ice and we saved about $200. over the cost of having a repair person come out.

I tested the defrost heater and the defrost bi-metal thermostat, both test good. The only component left was the main control board. So I ordered it from appliancepartsPro.com, I received it in 2 days,
