Removed the back cover to access the fan area. Clean the area with brush and vac first. Unplugged the Refrigerator. Used a socket set with 1/4" socket. Had an extended and a standard socket. Removed the condensate plastic drain from the bottom of the refrigerator to have more access to the fan. Unplugged the fan motor. Removed the two screws holding the fan in place. I removed the spillover grille, unscrewed two Phillip's screws, pulled off the dispenser cover, unclipped the wiring harness in back of the cover and set the cover aside. This exposes the works behind the cover. It was easy to see that the switch which controls the ice dispenser was not being held firmly in place. I troubleshot it and determined it is the motor and housing that were worn out. Waiting on the housing to ship before I replace all the components. When I receive it, all will be an easy fix. I ordered all my parts and all in stock were received on the date as promised. Read more
