Internet videos provided troubleshooting help. Verified ice maker working by shorting terminals and then verified valve was bad with ohmmeter check. Troubleshooting Info available with Google youtbube search. Part arrived with 3 days. 30 minute change out. Unfortunately, the refrigerator was 10+ yrs old and during the change out the water filter housing which has connecting tubes from the water inlet valve began leaking, possibly from movement of the tubes during the changeout. First replaced start capacitor but that did not work, the start kit which has a relay and overload protector is what was needed. The relay is actually the only part that was bad I believe.
After pulling the relay off the compressor you could shake it and it rattled, the new one did not.
Really pretty easy and definitely cheaper than a service call.
