First replaced start capacitor but that did not work, the start kit which has a relay and overload protector is what was needed. The relay is actually the only part that was bad I believe. After pulling the relay off the compressor you could shake it and it rattled, the new one did not. Really pretty easy and definitely cheaper than a service call. Read more

Peeled off the old overlay; left a nasty/sticky residue that was difficult to remove. Once overlay and old glue removed, I cleaned and carefully replaced new overlay. Looks as good as new! Read more

I went on line to this vendor. I found the part then called to speak to a rep. He confirmed the oart. We ordered it through the rep and it came two days aerie then expected. While I can admit the packaging could have been more protective especially for a metal and glass shelf, it arrived undamaged and perfectly brand new piece. The email I received letting me know that my parts were on the way also included a YouTube link that showed me exactly how to remove the broken part and install the new part.
