First replaced start capacitor but that did not work, the start kit which has a relay and overload protector is what was needed. The relay is actually the only part that was bad I believe. After pulling the relay off the compressor you could shake it and it rattled, the new one did not. Really pretty easy and definitely cheaper than a service call. Read more

Peeled off the old overlay; left a nasty/sticky residue that was difficult to remove. Once overlay and old glue removed, I cleaned and carefully replaced new overlay. Looks as good as new! Read more
