With new part - three screws to re-attach the motor to the plastic housing- most difficult part was putting two rubber caskets in slots attached to fridge metal plate I could not find any suggestions on line so I forced it in- hopefully not breaking this $100 part - it did not seat perfect but all is done and fan runs properly

Following the general guidance from the online video (fridge shown of course didn't exactly match mine) gutted the inside of the fridge enough to remove the water line. Replaced with new line, reversed gutting process on fridge. New line fixed the issue with the "clear stringy stuff" floating in the dispensed water.
