New gasket. Thought it would be as easy as the video demonstration ('just slide the gasket in") but it wasn't. My unit is 16 years old, so the old gasket was really stuck in there. We were working on it while the freezer was on and cold, which made everything less flexible. The old foam required a lot of scraping - even when the crumbs of it came loose, they didn't necessarily come out of the gasket groove. The new overload/relay kit corrected the problem.
The Panduit/zip-ties supplied in the replacement kit didn't fit where the illustration showed in the directions but smaller zip-ties connected together did fit and held the relay against the compressor just fine and the sealant had good squeeze-out.
