First replaced start capacitor but that did not work, the start kit which has a relay and overload protector is what was needed. The relay is actually the only part that was bad I believe.
After pulling the relay off the compressor you could shake it and it rattled, the new one did not.
Really pretty easy and definitely cheaper than a service call.

Use the website to diagnose potential problems. The two most-likely fixes were a new heater element and a new thermostat. I was hesitant to try the repair, but the online video was so excellent that I decided to do the repair myself. I ordered the parts and they showed up the next afternoon! I made the repair that evening, following the instructions in the video. So far, the refrigerator seems to working fine.
