This thermostat knob is the control dial used to set temperature on compatible ranges and ovens, restoring a clear pointer and easy grip when the original knob is cracked, faded, or missing. It provides a simple, user-facing control for the appliance thermostat. What it does:
- Turns the thermostat control shaft to select cooking temperature settings.
- Replaces cracked, worn, broken, loose, or missing knobs that make temperature adjustments difficult.
- Restores a visible pointer/indicator for accurate temperature selection.
- Improves grip and tactile feedback for safer, easier temperature changes.
What's included: One thermostat knob. Install notes:
- Turn appliance controls OFF and cool before replacing the knob.
- Remove the old knob by pulling it straight off the control shaft; align the new knob splines with the shaft and push on until fully seated.
- If the knob is stuck, use gentle rocking while pulling; do not pry on surrounding surfaces or force the shaft.

We replaced the gasket and the door closer kit. They were the exact match for our model. The door was only removed from the fridge for about 30 minutes.

Ice accumulation on lower door of freezer due to cracked door gasket Janet R. • North Haledon , NJ • August 24, 2015
New gasket. Thought it would be as easy as the video demonstration ('just slide the gasket in") but it wasn't. My unit is 16 years old, so the old gasket was really stuck in there. We were working on it while the freezer was on and cold, which made everything less flexible. The old foam required a lot of scraping - even when the crumbs of it came loose, they didn't necessarily come out of the gasket groove. My teenage son and I worked on this together, each with a flathead screwdriver for...
