First replaced start capacitor but that did not work, the start kit which has a relay and overload protector is what was needed. The relay is actually the only part that was bad I believe. After pulling the relay off the compressor you could shake it and it rattled, the new one did not. Really pretty easy and definitely cheaper than a service call. Read more

Replaced ice dispensor door. Just followed video instructions. Read more

I could hear the old motor try to turn by it's hum but no ice came out. I made sure the auger was not jammed. The motor replacement took about 15 minutes. This was a very simple fix, one wire connection and 9 screws. Read more

The door stop, on the bottom, was broken (fatigued metal over the years) and needed to be replaced. Read more
