Washer not dispensing soap or softener? A clogged or broken distribution nozzle prevents water flow to dispensers. Moderate DIY repair restores function.
Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You
The hose connecting the dispenser to the washer was leaking while removing the hose the plastic nipple from the dispenser broke off the machine is 20 years old Martin C. • Memphis , MI • February 08, 2016
I ordered the dispenser and the distribution nozzle since the old one was in bad shape. I also replaced the boot since I had to take the entire machine apart and it is 20 years old. I watched your videos on you tune to learn what to do. I recently lost my job and really could not afford to hire someone to fix my washer. I have to say it wasn't that hard to do and my wife was so happy that I was able to fix it myself! I probably saved $200 or $300 in service calls and labor on top of what they...

Replaces a cracked, damaged, or chewed-up outer tub that no longer properly contains water or supports the inner basket during wash and spin cycles.
Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You
The "spider assembly" on the inner tube broke from corrosion this caused the inner tub to rub against the outer front tub Paul S. • Rochester , NY • June 23, 2014
The main problem was fixing the inner tub. The "Spider Assembly" is attached with six screws, but the manufacture does not supply this as an individual part. This is good since the manufacture has a lifetime warranty in the inner tub. The manufacture supplied the inner tub. I purchased the outer front tub from Appliance Parts Pro. A fair price and excellent delivery time provided me with a quick up and run time to complete this repair.

Rear outer tub inner bearing and seal went out Timothy H. • Vacaville , CA • March 05, 2016
This repair went exactly as the video described. The video made it unbelievably easy. Took about 2.5 hours only because I scrubbed and cleaned all hoses and pars in and out. Our washer is 12 years old and had some build up.
Seriously don't shy away, this was $250 with a new belt. Compared to a new front loader $1200-$1500, repairs the way to go.
My only scare or concern was that the inner basket spider was rotten (galvanic corrosion (dissimilar metals) however it was just dirty.

F02 fail to drain repeated suds warnings John C. • Eagle River , AK • February 18, 2019
Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. Still got warnings for SUDS and repeated F02 errors. Ordered parts and replaced the pump, tub-to-pump hose, interior drain hose and exterior drain hose (both hoses has some slime build up). The water standing in the tub when I emptied it the first time had very little suds but we kept getting the SUDS warning. ...
