• Always disconnect power (unplug or shut off the circuit breaker) before starting work
• Attach the ring/terminal ends to the designated chassis ground screw and the equipment ground point
• Route the wire away from moving parts, heating elements, and sharp edges; secure with existing clips or fasteners
• If terminal hardware is missing or damaged, replace with equivalent OEM-style fasteners and torque to specification

Replace your washer's 5/16-18 hex nut if the original is stripped, missing, or corroded. Secures components during assembly and maintenance.
