I saw videos on it possibly being the lid switch. I used 2 lead wires to bypass the lid switch, which indicated it was indeed the lid switch that was faulty.
I ordered the lid switch, which came in 2 days. I installed it in less than 7 minutes.

Removed top cover, disconnected front connector, removed front panel, removed belt from idler pulley, removed washer drum and belt, replaced push clip, retaining clips, 2 support rollers and idler pulley. Reassembled in reverse order.

underwire from a bra (C-cup I think...) had shorted it and caused a break. Replaced heating element
and ... still no heat. Found that one of the fuses had no continuity also. Replaced the fuse and everything working fine.
