I needed to convert from lp to natural gas Mark S. • Raleigh , NC • June 01, 2015
Removed LP Orifice and LP Gas limiter.
Orifice was easy, however the gas limiter was the tricky one because I had no instructions to what went where. I could not find anything online as to how to convert from LP to Natural Gas, but you could find several things as to how to convert from Natural to LP.
I ended up finding the Dryer schematic on line for the Whirlpool Duet natural gas dryer and was able to figure out what sequence the Spring, regulator and limiter went in. The order I just...

This is the heater housing box that directs heated air from the heating element into the dryer drum. It forms an enclosed duct pathway to ensure proper airflow during the drying cycle. Replace this part if the dryer is not heating efficiently, takes too long to dry clothes, or the housing is cracked, warped, or damaged from excessive heat.

This front bulkhead is the large panel that forms the front wall of the dryer drum compartment and supports the drum as it rotates. It typically includes the opening where clothes are loaded and may include a felt seal to prevent air leaks. Replace this bulkhead if it is warped, cracked, or if the drum seal surface is damaged - symptoms include unusual noises, clothes getting caught between the drum and panel, or heat escaping from the front of the dryer.

My problem was not an appliance; it was a harvest gold bath tab we had patched a crack in the bottom of the tub and it left a big ugly brown spot Deborah N. • Georgetown , SC • July 17, 2014
I ordered harvest gold touch-up paint and painted over the area. So far, the paint staying and I think it looks fine. This surely beats replacing the whole tub!

Dryer won't heat or ignites inconsistently? Faulty wire harness between gas valve and igniter disrupts ignition signals. Simple connector replacement.

No heat gas dryer all other functions working Fred P. • Moon Township , PA • March 18, 2018
I couldn’t figure out what sensor was bad. I changed some of the usual suspects- thermostat, thermistor, high limit sensor n even the coils on the gas valve which tested slightly out of spec on the ohms. Visual inspection of the gas igniter seemed a little odd to my untrained eye. It looked like two parallel prongs that weren’t connected- like this is some sort of spark gap? Yup. Silly me. Of course the igniter functions like a mini oven broiler element. Simple as that if you know what you’re...

- Keeps debris and contaminants out of the plumbing system
- Can stop intermittent drips originating from service openings
What's included:
Install notes:
- Turn off water supply and power to the appliance before starting work
- Hand-start threads to avoid cross-threading; tighten only to OEM torque or finger-tight plus a quarter-turn if unspecified

- Helps prevent panel rattling, gaps, or a loose/hinging lower panel
- Common fix when the lower panel won't stay secured after service
- Durable metal clip design for repeated panel removal and reattachment
What's included: Toe panel clip kit Install notes:
- Unplug appliance before servicing; wear gloves to avoid sharp edges
- Support the toe panel while releasing old clips to prevent bending
- Install clips in the cabinet slots first, then engage the panel into the clips
- Verify the panel is fully seated on both sides before restoring power
