Kenmore Refrigerator 253.31640105 (25331640105, 253 31640105) Parts

This heat exchanger suction line kit replaces a damaged or corroded suction line assembly to restore proper refrigerant flow and heat transfer in the cooling system. It helps maintain consistent compartment temperatures and system efficiency. What it does:

• Transfers heat from the refrigerant suction line so the compressor and evaporator operate correctly
• Replaces cracked, kinked, or corroded tubing that can cause refrigerant loss or reduced cooling
• Helps address symptoms such as warm or inconsistent temperatures, visible oil or residue at fittings, or abnormal frost/ice patterns
• Restores a sealed refrigerant path after tubing damage or when corrosion has compromised the line

• Intended for qualified service technicians only; system access requires certified refrigerant handling
• Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing and follow all safety precautions
• Installation may require brazing, flare fittings, or specialty tools; verify leak-tight connections and pressure-test per OEM procedures
• Evacuate and recharge the refrigerant system to OEM specifications after installation

Refrigerator not cooling or freezing properly? This evaporator coil kit restores cooling performance. Moderate DIY repair with basic tools required.

Refrigerator not cooling properly? A faulty condenser may be blocking heat release. This repair requires soldering skills and sealed system experience.
