I checked with Appliance Parts Pros.com and found out that the likely culprit was a broken Ice Dispenser Actuator Arm. I watched a video on the same site and figured I could change that part. I wanted to confirm it was that part so I took the front section apart. The Ice Dispenser Actuator Arm was in fact broken; the little tab that strikes the switch had broken off. I removed the control box and replaced it with the one I ordered. I did have to remove and replace the thermostat controls on the front panel also. the controls were part of the control box kit but the front housing was not. It was easy to remove and replace everything. However after replacement I turned on the thermostat to factory settings and the door that controls the air from the freezer to the fresh food sectioned closed when it should have opened.
