The frigidaire freezer door gasket was shrinking progressively and already broke the seal to the freezer compartment Manuel G. • West Islip , NY • July 28, 2014
I emptied all the freezer door contents. Charged the cordless drill and got the right bit for the Philips screws. Covered the freezer opening with a double thick layer of plastic. Unscrewed all the Philips screws completely ...save for the corner screws...and loosensed up the liner completely.
I had allowed the freezer door gasket to regain it's shape overnight. Placing it or "shoehorning" it inside rhe liner was no problem. There were no kinks, no bumps. Tightened up all the screws loosely...
