Kenmore Refrigerator 253.76122407 (25376122407, 253 76122407) Parts

This actuator controls the refrigerator's internal airflow direction, helping the unit route cold air between compartments for consistent temperatures. Replaces a worn or failed mode/air damper actuator to restore normal airflow control. What it does:

• Moves the mode/air damper or control arm to open and close airflow pathways
• Restores proper compartment temperature balance when the damper is stuck or unresponsive
• Helps stop irregular cooling, warm spots, or fluctuating temperatures tied to damper failure
• Engages with the control board to shift airflow according to selected settings

• One actuator assembly

• Disconnect power before servicing to avoid shock or damage
• Access typically requires removing interior panels or the control housing
• Check connector fit and mounting points; secure actuator before testing
