Kenmore Refrigerator 253.76829400 (25376829400, 253 76829400) Parts

This heat exchanger suction line kit replaces a damaged or corroded suction line assembly to restore proper refrigerant flow and heat transfer in the cooling system. It helps maintain consistent compartment temperatures and system efficiency. What it does:

• Transfers heat from the refrigerant suction line so the compressor and evaporator operate correctly
• Replaces cracked, kinked, or corroded tubing that can cause refrigerant loss or reduced cooling
• Helps address symptoms such as warm or inconsistent temperatures, visible oil or residue at fittings, or abnormal frost/ice patterns
• Restores a sealed refrigerant path after tubing damage or when corrosion has compromised the line

• Intended for qualified service technicians only; system access requires certified refrigerant handling
• Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing and follow all safety precautions
• Installation may require brazing, flare fittings, or specialty tools; verify leak-tight connections and pressure-test per OEM procedures
• Evacuate and recharge the refrigerant system to OEM specifications after installation

Freezer not freezing or fridge too warm? The evaporator coil absorbs heat to cool your refrigerator. Professional installation recommended for this repair.

Ice maker not shutting off or making too much ice? A worn lever arm prevents proper shutoff. Simple replacement takes under an hour to restore function.

Refrigerator not cooling properly? A faulty condenser may be blocking heat release. This repair requires soldering skills and sealed system experience.

Leveling bracket that mounts and supports the ice maker assembly inside your refrigerator. Replace if bracket is cracked, broken, or missing.

Seals internal refrigerator components to prevent air leaks and moisture intrusion. Replace when worn to maintain proper airflow and temperature control.

Restores tight seals to stop leaks, drafts, and temperature loss. Replace when you notice gaps, noise, or moisture issues. Verify fit with your model.

Touch-up paint for appliances to cover scratches, chips, and worn areas on exterior surfaces. Restores appearance of refrigerators, ranges, and more.

Control box wiring harness assembly for refrigerators. Connects control board to components. Replace if wires are damaged, connector is cracked, or harness is worn.

Secures refrigerator hoses to fittings with spring tension to prevent leaks. Replace when clamp loses grip or shows rust. Verify fit with model number.

Black button plug that covers upper hinge mounting holes on your refrigerator. Replace if original plug is missing, cracked, or broken for a clean finish.

Secures the evaporator or condenser fan shroud to the refrigerator cabinet. Replace this mounting screw if stripped, missing, or broken during repair.

Secures and organizes wiring harnesses in your refrigerator. Replace if broken, cracked, or wires are loose. Confirm fit with your model number.
