This is a black plastic end cap that attaches to the right side of the oven door vent trim on a range. It provides a finished appearance and helps direct airflow through the door vent area. Replace this end cap if it is cracked, broken, discolored, or missing, which can affect the look of the range and proper venting around the oven door.
