My husband gets irked when I take it upon myself to do appliance repair. This isn't my first project. I looked at various websites and found this one very helpful. Purchased new burner assemblies and burner grates from Appliance Parts Pros to replace old, worn out ones. This job was easy as all parts purchased were unpack and place. My range is about 15 years old but is in pristine condition so instead of replacing the range, I chose to replace dirty, worn parts.

Oven not lighting John D. • Orlando , FL • January 16, 2024
We replaced the igniter. To do the job right you need to pull the oven off the wall (this was the 6 burner with griddle dual oven). you need to get to the igniter plug by taking off the entire back.... easier than it sounds... the hardest part is sliding the stove out and back in... I only need a 1/4 in driver for the whole job.... it is easier if you take the oven doors off...
