This painted screw head is a cosmetic and protective cap that restores the finished look where a visible screw is used. It covers the screw head and helps match surrounding black trim for a clean appearance. What it does:
- Covers and conceals a screw head to improve appearance of panels, trim, or bezels
- Helps protect the screw head from direct exposure and reduces visible wear
- Used when trim or panels show exposed or mismatched screw heads
- Common fix when screw heads are scratched, discolored, or visually distracting
What's included: One painted black screw head. Install notes:
- Use the matching screw and press or snap the cap into place over the screw head
- Disconnect power and remove any panels only as recommended by your appliance manual before working near electrical components
- Avoid forcing or prying the cap; if tight, gently ease it on to prevent breakage
- Replace any damaged caps with the exact part to maintain fit and finish

Temperature varied 50+/ ; worse at high temperatures Steve L. • Stanwood , WA • January 12, 2015
Replaced thermostat. Biggest challenge was how to feed the thermostat from the back of the stove into the oven. I found the easiest way is to tie a string onto the existing thermostat in the oven before it is removed. When the existing thermostat is pulled out the back un-tie the string and tie it on the new thermostat then pull the string from in the oven to draw the new thermostat through the hole.
