This door foam assembly is the insulated foam insert that fits inside a refrigerator door to help maintain consistent cabinet temperature and reduce heat transfer through the door. It restores the door's insulation and helps improve cooling performance. What it does:
- Replaces the interior foam insulation inside a refrigerator door to restore thermal barrier
- Helps reduce warm spots and interior temperature fluctuations linked to degraded door insulation
- Minimizes condensation and frost that can form when door insulation is damaged
- Supports overall energy efficiency by restoring the door's designed insulating value
What's included: One door foam assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any work
- Remove door panels, trim, and any inner liners per the OEM service instructions to access the foam cavity
- Handle foam and door liners gently to avoid tears; use appropriate fasteners or adhesive if required by the model
- After reassembly, run the refrigerator and verify normal cooling and no unusual gaps or drafts around the door

The Evaporator Fan Motor Kit is an OEM part compatible with GE refrigerators. It is a critical component responsible for circulating air and maintaining proper airflow within the refrigerator's evaporator system, ensuring efficient cooling and temperature regulation. It features a shaft that measures 3/8 of an inch and two right-side terminals. Notably, the motor no longer comes with harness wires, which must be obtained separately for installation.
Symptoms of a faulty evaporator fan motor include:
- Inconsistent or inadequate cooling in the refrigerator or freezer compartments
- Warm spots or temperature fluctuations within the refrigerator
- Excessive frost buildup or ice accumulation in the freezer
Causes of a bad evaporator fan motor can include wear and tear over time, electrical issues or short circuits, or physical damage from foreign objects or improper maintenance.
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore refrigerator models.

It turns out that all it needed was a small electric fan (i.e., evaporator fan) to circulate the air from the freezer coils throughout the refrigerator [all other major components were good]. It was really easy to locate the motor and fan and replace it. I saved hundreds of $$$. I really appreciated the...
