This oven back insulation is the replacement rear cavity pad that helps contain oven heat and protect rear components and cabinetry. It restores proper thermal barrier performance for safer, more consistent oven operation. What it does:

• Provides a thermal barrier behind the oven cavity to limit heat transfer to the rear panel and surrounding cabinetry
• Helps maintain more consistent cooking temperatures by reducing heat loss through the back
• Protects wiring, controls, and exterior surfaces from excessive heat exposure
• Replaces missing, damaged, or deteriorated insulation that can cause higher rear-surface temperatures or heat-related odors

• One oven back insulation pad as shown

• Disconnect power to the appliance before servicing
• Remove the range/oven from its enclosure and access the rear panel per your model's service instructions
• Handle insulation with gloves and a mask if fibers are exposed; avoid compressing or tearing the material
• Secure the insulation in the original position with factory fasteners or clips; verify no obstruction of vents or wiring before reassembly
