I broke the glass cover on the veggie bin while cleaning it Karen N. • Spring , TX • November 25, 2014
I did have to dig out the tiny old broken pieces of glass from the front rubber edging with a knife blade. I tried both a screwdriver and needle nose pliers, but they were shredding the edge. Then I just popped it on and laid the glass in the slots. Super easy!

Looked up the make and model number on ApplianceParts.com. Viewed the diagram of the defroster heater assembly. Ordered the replacement parts which arrived in 2 business days.
It took a long time with a hair dryer to melt the ice/frost on the coils, but not long at all to remove and replace the 2 heater elements.
