Unplugged power cord. Removed the microwave from over the range. Removed vent and screws on of microwave, which allowed me to remove compartment containing sensor at upper left area of microwave. Removed clamp holding sensor. Removed and replaced sensor. Reversed process and reinstalled unit. Read more

Our microwave is mounted over the range, and has dual lights underneath that light up the range. A while back in trying to replace burned out bulbs, one of the bulbs broke and in trying to remove the rest of the bulb from the socket, I accidentally destroyed the socket. Removed microwave from the built in cabinet (probably the hardest part) and took off top cover (screws on side and back). Had previously blown the power fuse 2 times in this microwave, so I checked the fuse first using an ohmmeter. This time fuse was good. Traced the power wires around to top side of microwave and saw the overheat "therm" switch. I believe the therm is installed there as a safety feature to open the power circuit to the microwave in case something was to overheat for any... Read more

I used a voltmeter to test continuity on parts. I found 2 thermostats burnt out. I replaced all of the thermostats and also changed a capacitor. It now works well! Read more

The fan that cools the main unit had started making noise a few weeks ago, I tried cleaning and lubricating the bearings, but the fan would make noise when it heated up, then finally stopped. I replaced the fan, it was up and running within 20 minutes of receiving the parts. Read more

Downloaded service manual, got over my fear of getting shocked. Found Samsung put bleed resistors in capacitor, jumped with screwdriver to confirm as per service manual. Tested diode, found a large voltage drop with 9v battery. Capacitor test failed. Called into APP to confirm, got some great advice. Once I figured out what this was, I saw a video on replacing it. Was super easy and I found the parts on Appliance Parts Pros. Ordered it and got it in a few days. Popped it in and it was good to go.
