David H Orlando , FL December 18, 2015 Dual light sockets underneath the microwave needed repair/replacement Our microwave is mounted over the range, and has dual lights underneath that light up the range. A while back in trying to replace burned out bulbs, one of the bulbs broke and in trying to remove the rest of the bulb from the socket, I accidentally destroyed the socket. We worked fine with the remaining bulb for a year or so, but it finally burned out. Unfortunately all of the replacement bulbs would only last 1-2 days before burning out again in the one socket. When I'd originally destroyed the one socket, I contacted Samsung about getting it fixed and they told me there weren't any parts available for what I needed repaired. When the bulbs began failing I searched a little harder and found the sockets on AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered them. They arrived two days later and I replaced them that night in around 10 minutes. Lights are working great again. Instead of replacing the microwave, we were able to fix it for under $20.00.
