This foam filter block fits into its designated cavity to help screen debris and cushion adjoining components. Replacing a worn or missing block helps maintain proper airflow paths and can reduce vibration-related noise.
- Serves as a foam filter/seal inside the unit's air path or compartment
- Helps keep dust and debris out of internal passages
- Provides cushioning to minimize vibration and rattling
- Replace if the foam is crumbling, torn, misshapen, or won't stay seated
What's included: One foam filter block. Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing
- Access location per your model's parts diagram; remove any cover or grille as needed
- Note the orientation of the old block and press the new block fully into place without over-compressing
- Reinstall panels and restore power

Slow water from dispenser Michael G. • Indian Land , SC • December 06, 2019
Replaced the water filter head. Watched the youtube video made by Appliance Parts Pros. The plastic gards that go over the tops have retaining clips. Pry the old gears off off the metal slides with a sturdy flat screwdriver. The replacement gears...

Condensor fan stopped running compressor/coils overheating Dana W. • Jefferson City , MO • June 27, 2014
Remove rear dust panel and grill to expose compressor and fan. Three 1/4 bolts hold fan in place from rear, need to "reach around and feel" used a 1/4" ratchet but nut driver would work as well to remove old fan/bracket. Disconnect electrical connection. On new fan, push fan blade onto fan shaft. New fan comes with 3 mounting arms and rubber bushings. Insert rubber bushings into old screw holes on the refrigerator, push new mounting arms through, hook end first. Use old 1/4" mounting...
