Upper freezer glide that supports and guides the freezer drawer for smooth opening and closing. Replaces a worn or damaged glide to help eliminate binding, scraping, and uneven drawer movement. What it does:
- Guides and supports the upper freezer drawer for smooth travel; a failed glide often causes the drawer to stick or catch.
- Reduces metal-on-metal contact and scraping noises when opening or closing the drawer.
- Helps restore proper drawer alignment to prevent uneven gaps or rubbing against the cabinet.
- Lowers stress on adjacent components by returning consistent, even drawer movement.
What's included: One upper freezer glide. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any service work.
- Remove freezer contents and the drawer assembly per the manufacturer's instructions to access the glide.
- Replace the glide following the OEM diagram/steps; keep fasteners and mounting points aligned during reassembly.
- Test drawer operation after installation and adjust as needed for smooth, even travel.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You
High level of noise with each compressor cycle Bruce H. • Bonita Springs , FL • July 24, 2015
The installation of the new condenser motor was as the video described; there were no surprises. I noted the difference in operation immediately, the fan was moving at a higher rate of speed in a smoother motion. The new motor had far less shaft end play and seems to move more air across the condenser coil than the original motor. All in all, this was a relatively easy repair that solved a real refrigerator performance problem; the unit now cycles less often and generates less compressor heat.
