My 1984 dishwasher that still works great was an eyesore & I didn't match my other appliances. Dorothy L. • Raleigh , NC • March 24, 2014
I purchased a can of black appliance spray paint, removed the panels on the dishwasher, sprayed them, and a few hours later put them back. They're beautiful and it looks like I have a brand new dishwasher! It now matches everything and looks great with the new granite counter tops I just installed. THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT IDEA!!! I'm a 76 year old female and my friends think I'm a genius!

I had a dead front dual burner on our kitchen aid range no error code Francis V. • Shelton , CT • April 04, 2015
I replaced the controller. I had a heck of a time figuring out how to get to it. The video on the website showed access to the control via the rear panel. On the Kitchen Aid we have, the back panel is part of the range's main frame and does not come off. Turns out, 2 screws behind the fluorescent lamp had to be removed and the entire control panel housing lifts up and can be tilted forward. (I needed to clean behind the range anyway, so it was no big deal)!!

What's included: One red indicator lens. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before attempting replacement to avoid shock or accidental activation.
- Typically snaps into the control-panel opening; some models may use small retainers or screws—retain any fasteners from the original part.
- Replace only with the correct lens to ensure proper fit and color.
- If the indicator still appears dim after replacing the lens, inspect the bulb/LED and wiring (replace only after verifying power is off).

The red indicator light for one burner stayed on and the heat control was eratic Charles R. • New Bern , NC • March 17, 2017
I replaced the control. On my model stove it was accessible from the front. Just raised the lid where the fluorescent tube is located, removed the tube for access and removed two phillips head screws to release the front panel where the control is located. I used long nose pliers to facilitate removing and reinserting the wire lugs. Since this was my second repair I had already figured out how easy it was.
