Original bottom oven door trim rusted and unsightly from washing oven door glass Robert S. • Ashland , KY • April 13, 2014
Removed three screws holding trim on bottom of oven door, removed rusted trim, installed new trim, reinserted the three screws. Stove looks new again!
The experience with AppliancePartsPros was outstanding, representative I spoke with rechecked the part number I provided to make sure it was the correct part. The part arrived the following day, packaged to ensure it did not become damaged during shipping. Excellent experience!

Upper cooling blower was making loud noise no error code Raymond M. • Mundelein , IL • February 06, 2016
I have a 10 year old Kitchenaid double oven with warming drawer below and electrical connection is located in cabinet below. I order a service manual from http://www.allrepairmanuals.com. If you have the service manual follow it, it walks a technician thru each step. If you don't have a manual here are a few highlights. Disclaimer the following is for my oven model KEBS208DBL8, your oven service steps may vary.
IMPORTANT! First step turn-off the power to the oven (mine was a 40 amp breaker)...

This is the trim piece that attaches along the bottom edge of the oven door, providing a finished appearance and helping seal the door panel. It is biscuit (bisque) in color. Replace this trim if it is cracked, warped, discolored, or missing, which can affect the door's appearance and insulation.

I broke two trim pieces taking the oven door apart to clean it since i was ordering to side trim pieces i decided to replace the bottom door trim piece as well since it was bent and rusty Jennifer W. • Richmond , CA • July 19, 2016
The hardest part of this repair was a) realizing that the easiest way to clean the oven door pieces is to remove the whole door and b) figuring out how to put the oven door back on. Doing (b) is infinitely easier if you stick two allen wrenches into the holes in the door hinge, but these holes ONLY appear when the door is fully open. Prop the hinges open BEFORE you remove the door.
As many posters online will tell you, it is easy to remove the oven door but hard to put it back on. It...

Changing the orifices Frank T. • Jacksonville , FL • January 14, 2017
On this stove I had to remove the cook top containing the four burners, then the orifices were easy to get to; using a phillips screw driver to remove the face plate behind the burner knobs, then one screw on each side (front) of burner top, I lifted top high enough to remove burner tubes using a half inch open end wrench, with the burner tubes disconnected I was able to remove cook top and gain easy access to orifices, these were changed out using an eight mm box end wrench, the real...
