We watched the YouTube video appliance pros made, ordered the part from them, and installed. The part we replaced wasn't as simple as the one in the video. But with two sets of eyes we replaced one wire at a time and cut the universal knob post to size just right. Burner works as good as new.
Well worth the time and effort for the cost savings. It would have gone even more quickly if we hadn't put it in upside down the first time. :-)
