Had an appliance repair person come in and after he tested it, he said the element was fine and that it is probably the control switch panel. A hundred dollars later, issue was not resolved. As per his recommendation, we ordered the control switch panel, my son-in-law installed it, and two hundred dollars later, the dual element still did not work. Very easy fix. Lifted off the grill and burner. Unscrewed 2 screws. Pulled the burner pan up and off. Disconnected the wire to the igniter. Used needle nosed pliers to remove the clip holding the igniter in place. Removed the gasket from the old burner pan. Placed the new igniter in the hole of the new burner pan and slipped the old clip on the igniter to hold it in place. Then put the old gasket on the new burner pan.
