Oven light stayed on when door was closed Robert S. • Jacksonville , IL • June 14, 2015
When trouble shooting the problem I found that the light switch housing outer lip was broken allowing the switch to push through mounting surface behind the oven door. This is a slide in range so, I proceeded to pull the range away from the counter where I could unplug the power cord. Once the power was off like located the panel on the right upper side of the unit and removed the screws to allow access to the switch. I then unplugged the switch from the wiring harness and removed the damaged...

This clip secures the appliance's terminal block to the chassis, keeping wiring stable and preventing strain on electrical connections. It's a small, durable mounting clip used where the terminal block needs a fast, reliable hold. What it does:
- Holds the terminal block firmly to the appliance frame to reduce wire movement and wear
- Helps maintain safe, stable electrical connections by preventing strain on terminal wires
- Prevents the terminal block from shifting during use or service
- Compatible with standard terminal block locations that use a push-in or snap-mount clip
What's included:
- One terminal block mounting clip
Install notes:
- Always disconnect power before accessing or servicing electrical components
- Remove access panels and locate the terminal block; clip typically snaps into a chassis slot or aligns with an existing mounting boss
- Handle wiring and terminals gently to avoid loosening connections; verify all wires are secure after reinstall

Heating element was not working Matthew B. • Verona , WI • November 14, 2016
Used a multi-meter to diagnose the problem. Ruled out the incoming power source and the control switch. Determined it was a failed heating element. Watched videos showing how to remove the glass top from my slide in range. Removed the top and replaced the heating element. Put it all back together, plugged it in and the heating element works again.
